growth of the resort real estate segment through
the number of transaction is kept increasing,
especially in Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Nang...–
the foundations of this segment. In the stage from
2014 to the first quarter of 2016, it is said that the
number of flats and villas which had been sold had
a remarkable rising. For example, Phu Quoc had
the sudden increase from no transaction in 2014
to 850 compartment sold in 2015 and mantaind
until first quarter of 2016. These number are 103-
481-1357 in Nha Trang and 7-180-1335 in Da Nang
through periods.
In 2015, The real estate of resort became more
salient because many big company participated
in and more than 18.000 products were launched;
consumption reached more than 60%; 14.000
apartments and villas began being sold in 2016.
More than 80% of these are modern apartments,
with successful transactions rate reached 15-30%
depending on products in each market.
In the first and second quarter of 2017, the real
estate of resort continued developing. Projects
about the real estate of resort is more and more
attrative with many firms. Da Nang and Nha
Trang are strongly concerned by investors of the
resort real estate.
The amount of supply: According to statistics of
Vietnam National Real Estate Association, a series
of new resort real estate projects are massively
appearing in all three parts of our country. It can
be said that Da Nang-Nha Trang-Phu Quoc are
still considered as “Paradises of resort” and take
the lead in the number of vacation property. Until

The powerful growth of the economy in general and the tourism industry in particular enjoy together
with many factors such as: geography, security and culture – the reason why the real estate market of
resort has the speedily development in recent years. Having only appeared and developed for about 10
years, especially last 2 or 3 years, the real estate market of resort is the fairly new segment, so it still has a
lot of insufficiency. What is that ? What can we do to restrict that insufficiency and to make the real estate
market of resort has the more stable development?

The situation of the real estate market
of resort in Viet Nam
Consumption trends: Recently, the necessity of
the real estate of resort in Viet Nam has increased
rapidly thanks to the development of economy,
tourism as well as geographical, security, cultural
and social factors. When the income rises and
the living standard is improved, we usually have
the tendency to invest in attractive investment
channels rather than shares and gold ones.
Satisfying demands for profitability ratio and
resort, the real estate of resort is gaining advantage
of other investment channels.
The amount of transactions: In the last period,
the market has acknowledged the powerful
